Tosh Striped Raglan Pullover




**Top down version:**

Gauge 24sts/28 rows= 4" (10cm)
Materials: 3 skeins  of madelinetosh vintage; 5 skeins of madelinetosh dk; size US 7 circular needle

Colors sequence:
1.duchess (all ribbing only)
2.oxblood
3.turquoise
4.fig
5.glazed pecan
6.groove
7.nectar
8.caligraphia

Change colors after every 8 rows twice, then follow sequence below:

**Note**:
Total of 2 ((3) 18.75") pattern repeats from colors 2-8. Knit 8rnds of color 2, 6rndss of color 3, 4 rnds of color 4,5,6,7,8, and 2; change to color l and do 2x2 ribbing in for 1-3". (20 to 21 inches long for the body) BO loosely. Do the same color sequence for the sleeves!

CO 80 sts do 2x2 rib for one inch
K30, pm, k10, pm, k30, pm, k10.

Increase every other round as follows: Increase in the front and back of each marker till there are 64 (66)sts for the arms. On the 8th rnd of color eight, knit to the first set of sleeve stitches, transfer sleeve stitches to a stitch holder or scrap yarn; knit across to the next set of sleeve stitches, and put those stitches onto a stitch holder or scrap yarn like the first set!

The Body:

Knit the stitches that remain on the needles (in the round), changing colors as you see fit, and until you have reached your desired length, in Stst. Finish up by doing 1-3" of 2x2 ribbing, BO loosely.

When it comes time to knit the sleeves transfer the 64 (66) sts to dpn or circular needles, pick up and knit 6(4) sts with color 2,making sure to switch colors every 8rows. and dec 2 stitches every 5rows till about row 30, then dec every 3rows till there are 48 sts left. (I may do quarter sleeves)

Decrease Rnds: Ssk, knit to last 2 sts k2tog.
Increase: Kfb in stitch before and after each marker.

Finishing: sew in all ends, block if necessary, and wear proudly!
