Kid Silk Scarf
US size 8 needle; 1 Skein of Rowan kidsilk haze,
CO 40sts
1.Knit first row. 
2.Knit 5 sts, yo, k2tog, till last five sts, knit (Maintain the garter stittch border over five sts) 
3.Knit across.
repeat rows 2 and 3 till desired length and end with a purled row on the RS of the work.

Cable Hat Pattern

Materials: Chunky Weight yarn 150-200yards, US size 9 needle, one stitch marker, and one tapestry needle
CO 112
K2, P2 for 1”
Pattern:
K6, P8
C3B, P8 (repeat on every 8th row)

Improvising this. which should be simple.
Doing the body in one piece, and the sleeves on straight needles.
For size 36/38bust Casting on 164sts
2x2 rib and place two marks on marking the beginning and the front of the piece, and the other in a different color to mark the back of the piece. do the ribbing for 2.5” in the gray. Working 2 rows of rainbow colors, and 7-8 rows of gray.
Stst till 14” long; BO10 stitches at each marker.
Back: k1, k2tog, K-last 3sts, ask k1; purl one row. Repeat 2 more times. work even in Stst till 8.5-9” long.
Front: 4rows into the gray start neck decrease after the red row) BO center 32sts working with two balls of yarn. knit for 3 rows then decrease as follows: knit to last 3 sts, k1, k2tog, second side k1, ssk, knit to end. Purl on wrong side work till same size as back. BO all sts.
Sleeve (make 2):
With smaller needles, cast on 42 (42, 46, 46, 50) sts. Work in K2, p2 Rib until piece measures about 3 in. (7.5 cm) from beg, end with a WS row.
Change to larger needles.
Next (Inc) Row: K2, kfb, (inc made) work in St st to last 3 sts, kfb (inc made), k2.
Continue in St st, rep Inc Row every 4 rows 13 (13, 14, 12, 14) more times, then every 6 rows 4 (4, 4, 6, 5) times – 78 (78, 84, 84, 90) sts.
Work even until piece measures 18 (18, 18, 19, 19) in. (45.5 (45.5, 45.5, 48.5, 48.5) cm) from beg, end with a WS row.
Shape Cap
Bind off 5 (5, 5, 6, 6) sts at beg of next 2 rows – 68 (68, 74, 72, 78) sts.
Bind off 2 sts at beg of next 4 rows – 60 (60, 66, 64, 70) sts.
Next (Dec) Row: K1, k2tog, k to last 3 sts, ssk, k1.
Next Row: Purl.
Rep last 2 rows until 44 sts rem.
Bind off 3 sts at beg of next 8 rows.
Bind off rem 20 sts.
Collar: pick up and k90sts, 2x2 rib for 1.5” BO.

Seed Stitch Scarf with Fringe



Materials:
US 13
300-400yards of a bulky yarn

Pattern:

CO 16 sts, with a cable cast on
Row 1: *k1, p1
Row 2: knit the purl stitches and purl the knit stitches.
Row 2 makes up the patterns, you can change colors if you like.
Knit till desired length BO
Add fringe at the ends

Improvised Candy: Stripes and Sprinkles Hat in Malabrigo


Materials:
US 6 circular
US 8 straight needles
1 skien of worsted weight yarn about 90yards, and 1 skien of Malabrigo worsted in snow bird( or any color)

Straight needles, knit back and forth.
CO 72sts 
1x1 rib for 1.5” in (solid color) 
in Malabrigo Stst till measures about 7” from the beginning 
Begin my usual dec. weave tail through remaining sts. 
pick up and knit about 50 sts( left side done in solid with button holes, right side done in var yarn)
use BO or yo k2tog button-hole method.
Knit 4, yo, k2tog

Super Bulky Cowl


US size 19 straight or circular needle.

 CO 27 (provisional CO 30, pick up and knit 27 sts) sts garter stitch till fits around shoulders 3 needle BO or sew ends together.

Or 
CO 200 work still 10”+ long BO loosely
Finishing: weave in ends, wear proudly!



Tosh Striped Raglan Pullover




**Top down version:**

Gauge 24sts/28 rows= 4" (10cm)
Materials: 3 skeins  of madelinetosh vintage; 5 skeins of madelinetosh dk; size US 7 circular needle

Colors sequence:
1.duchess (all ribbing only)
2.oxblood
3.turquoise
4.fig
5.glazed pecan
6.groove
7.nectar
8.caligraphia

Change colors after every 8 rows twice, then follow sequence below:

**Note**:
Total of 2 ((3) 18.75") pattern repeats from colors 2-8. Knit 8rnds of color 2, 6rndss of color 3, 4 rnds of color 4,5,6,7,8, and 2; change to color l and do 2x2 ribbing in for 1-3". (20 to 21 inches long for the body) BO loosely. Do the same color sequence for the sleeves!

CO 80 sts do 2x2 rib for one inch
K30, pm, k10, pm, k30, pm, k10.

Increase every other round as follows: Increase in the front and back of each marker till there are 64 (66)sts for the arms. On the 8th rnd of color eight, knit to the first set of sleeve stitches, transfer sleeve stitches to a stitch holder or scrap yarn; knit across to the next set of sleeve stitches, and put those stitches onto a stitch holder or scrap yarn like the first set!

The Body:

Knit the stitches that remain on the needles (in the round), changing colors as you see fit, and until you have reached your desired length, in Stst. Finish up by doing 1-3" of 2x2 ribbing, BO loosely.

When it comes time to knit the sleeves transfer the 64 (66) sts to dpn or circular needles, pick up and knit 6(4) sts with color 2,making sure to switch colors every 8rows. and dec 2 stitches every 5rows till about row 30, then dec every 3rows till there are 48 sts left. (I may do quarter sleeves)

Decrease Rnds: Ssk, knit to last 2 sts k2tog.
Increase: Kfb in stitch before and after each marker.

Finishing: sew in all ends, block if necessary, and wear proudly!
