4hour Fingerless Mittens



Materials:

US 11 circular or DPN's
Worsted-Aran-Bulky yarn (100 yards) I used Panguipulli Yarn by Araucania


Pattern:

With yarn held double, CO 27sts, Join in the round (or knit flat)!

Do 2x1 rib (k2,p1) for 4", Then you will stop knitting in the round (if you choose that option).

Knit front and back (NOT in the round) for 1"; then re-join in the round after peice measures 5" from the beginning

K2, p1 rib until piece measures 7"-8" long.

Optional thumb: pick up 9 sts work in 2x1 rib for 4rnds BO loosely.

Easy Lace Scarf


Materials:
US 10.5 needle

1 skein  of a Dk-Worsted weight yarn (150yards)

Size: 4" wide

Pattern:

CO 18sts 
K1, YO, K2tog; Rep each row!


Repeat this row until you are almost out of yarn.

BO in pattern.

10 Hour Sock Pattern:




Materials:
US 10.5 Circular or DPN’s
Tapestry needle
Measuring tape
2 skeins of encore worsted or any equivalent weight yarn (chunky, 200yards per skein) Yarn will be held double (at the same time)
Size
Mens S, Womens M-L; Mens M-L in ()
Cuff:
CO 28(32) sts
1x1(K1, P1) or 2x2(K2, P2) rib for 2.5”
Begin Stst until cuff measures 4.5”-7” (desired length, please buy more yarn if you want socks to be longer)
Heel flap:
Begin slip stitch Heel: (knit back and forth across 14sts, you will have 14sts on a holder that will not be worked in this section)
1.sl1, k1 (repeat across 14sts(16sts))
sl first stitch, purl across End after Finishing a purl row! (Heel flap should be about 1.5"-2" long).
Heel dec row and shaping:
1st row: (= RS): Knit until there are 5(7) sts left on row, K2 tog, turn the piece.
2nd row: (= WS): Purl until there are 5(7) sts left on row, P2 tog, turn the piece.
3rd row (= RS): Knit until there are 4(6) sts left on row, K2 tog, turn the piece.
4th row (= WS): Purl until there are 4(6) sts left on row, P2 tog, turn the piece.
5th row: Knit until there are 3(5)sts left on row, K2tog, K1, turn piece.
6th row: Purl until there are 3(5)sts left on row, P2tog, P1.
There should be 8(4) sts left on the heel, and 14(16)sts that have not yet been worked.
Gusset: (you will begin to work in the round again)
Knit across heel sts, placing a marker after the 7th stitch. Pick up 7-8sts, put stitches on hold back on the needle, knit across front 14(16)sts, pick up 7-8sts
Knit to the last 3sts, k2tog, k1; k14; k1, ssk (or k2togtbl), knit to marker.
Knit every stitch.
Repeat these two rows until you have 28(32)sts total or 14(16) sts on each needle
Foot:
Knit every row until foot measures about 1.5”-2” shy of recipients foot!
Toe:
knit to last 2 sts, k2tog; ssk, knit to last 2 sts, k2tog; ssk, knit to marker.
knit entire round
Repeat these two rows until you have 4sts left on each needle.
Finishing:
Kitchner stitch; weave in ends!
Sock is finished, make other sock!
Note if using Double Points (DPN) divide sts between four needles evenly. For smaller size you should have 7sts on each needle, and for larger size you should have 8sts on each needle.
Abbreviations:
Sts= stitches
DPN= Double pointed needles
K=Knit
P=Purl
K2tog= knit two together
K2togtbl= knit two together through back loop
SSK= slip, slip, knit (slip two stitches as if to knit, on to the right hand needle; put left needle into the front of those two recently slipped stitches, and knit those two stitches together through back loop)
